Lion of Judah! Breaker, Deliverer, King! As you read Genesis 49:8-12, what do you perceive of this descendant of Judah? He will be revered by all. He will embody the strength and majesty of a lion, ruling over all nations. He will triumph over his adversaries and earn the respect and submission of all his brothers. He is a figure of awe and fear, whose kingdom will endure eternally. No one will be capable or worthy of challenging his throne. Eventually, all nations will bow before him and offer tribute and worship. He is the one to whom all nations owe obedience.
